Duckies For Kim
See the duckies!
Get a duckie!
Hi everyone! This is Liz.

Last year my friend Kim Plahuta was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has undergone aggressive treatment, including a mastectomy and chemo. The doctors think she has an excellent chance of pulling through it and continuing to live a long life with her husband Matt and new baby Jake, but the medical bills are substantial.

To try to help out I started this fundraiser, Duckies For Kim. I will send you a cute rubber ducky, and you send back a donation to help Kim out. That's it, no strings attached.

It doesn't matter how much you can give, a little bit from everyone is a lot! And you'll have something that will help you think about Kim and send her love, and she needs that too!

If you have any questions, please email me at DuckiesForKim@faaland.com.

UPDATE:
We've raised $523 so far, and Kim has gotten the first check! Thanks everyone for your generous help!

Duckies!

The duckies are made of rubber (obviously... who ever heard of a duckie that wasn't?) with a breast cancer ribbon on the front and "Duckies For Kim" printed on the tail.

Help Out!

Here's how it works. Send me an email at DuckiesForKim@faaland.com. Please include your mailing address. That's all you have to do for now.

I will mail you a ducky and an envelope, ready to be mailed. Put in a check for how much you'd like to donate and drop it in the mail. That's it! It'll be pre-addressed and stamped and ready to go.
